- It's difficult to put a target audience on this CD. I would say it's for intermediate to advanced balloon artists.
- The colours and brands mentioned in the balloon lists are what was used in the photos. You are free to use any brand you like. My preferred balloon is Qualatex® from Pioneer Balloon® Company, but I'll use another brand when they don't make what I need.
- Bubble sizes are not listed. I never measure bubbles myself — sculptures are about proportion, not size.
- I never mention the use of leftover scrap balloon. If you make these designs you'll soon discover that only part of the balloon is often used. Feel free to use scrap where it makes sense.
- If the instructions call for a stand-alone twist such as a stand-alone pinch twist, it means a twist with all the rest of the balloon cut off.
- The basic twists on this CD are explained far better and in much more detail in other balloon books. They are listed here so you can understand my terminology. If you still need to learn the basics, I recommend Balloon Magic 260Q figures by Marvin Hardy.
- Add detail where it matters, especially when working for a crowd. When making a cartoon figure, the head is what makes it — people love watching that head grow from a balloon mess into their beloved character. A quick body after that will do. See the Chicken and Monkey bodies as examples.
- This CD-ROM does not require an internet connection. However, it does contain external links that point to locations on the World Wide Web.
