Reading the contents of this media into a computer's memory is valid. Placing the media in a reader on a networked computer and transmitting the information to a single user's desktop is also legitimate. However, copying and redistributing the information to other people, or placing it on a network where it is accessible by multiple people at a time, is not acceptable.

In short, treat this like a book. One person can read a book at a time. Books can be loaned out, but making copies without permission is a violation of copyright law — including hard copy printouts and network distribution.

The one exception: it is perfectly acceptable for the purchaser to produce hard copies for personal use, provided they are only used in conjunction with the CD by the original purchaser.
